Mocker Arms

Kalamunda goes Mock Tudor with this beauty in the main shopping area.

I was in town for the annual Perth hills wine show, which saw a hundred-odd (or a hundred odd) people cram into the local agricultural hall to partake of the alcoholic residue of the local vignerons.

While in the hall, eight megalitres of water started tumbling from the sky, meaning the poor Kalamundans trapped inside had no option but to stay there and drink up.

Tequila Mockingbird

A bitta Northbridge Tudor comin' down the cable at ya.

It's not the best example of Australian architecture. But the building is a faux-pommie pub, after all. So fair cop, I spose, Guv.
